June Update

Yuppp, another Thrifting Fashion Game update !!
It's been awhile so lets just get straight into updates! Like the new...
Day + Night Cycle!
ദ്ദി ˉ͈ ꒳ˉ͈ )✧

Days now pass over ~15 minutes, refreshing shop inventories and your boutique's customers, so make sure to balance your schedule!!
I also added a full Calendar system, allowing for story moments + special events to occur on certain dates in the full game!! But, in the beta it will mostly be used for...
Daily Discounts!

When thrifting, you'll notice that items' price tags come in a variety of colors!
Red, Yellow, Green, etc!
Thats because everyday, 2 of those colors are chosen and any item with a tag matching that color is on sale! One color (based on the day of the week) is 50% off, and another random color 25% off!
Because different item types lean towards specific colors, creating some fun choices!
Like if you find some sick pants, do you buy them now or gamble on them still being there tomorrow when they might be 50% off? Hmmmm........
This system (and most other recent additions) were designed to make gameplay choices more meaningful.
I've been focusing on adding depth through strategy & optimization bc its something I think is sorely lacking in most fashion games which I want to change!
Another way I've added depth is by adding...
Brands!
Every in-game item has the potential to be Generic, Branded, or Luxury Branded, which can be determined through examining it's tag when thrifting, as shown above!
The better the brand, the higher the item's QUALITY, which will be important for something I discuss later...

byyyyyyyyeeeee!!! ദ്ദി₍ᐢ. ⩊ .ᐢ₎

(To better determine quality, I've added a zoom feature to let you examine items up close!)
Quality also increases if an item is VINTAGE! I've added obscure ways to determine this (ex. checking if an item is single-stitched, if it has a copyright date, a retro tag, etc.).
And ofc rare item types & designs are also higher quality! Likewise, any stained or distressed are worth less... @_@
So why all this focus on item quality?
Thats because the higher quality outfits you give your clients, the more likely they are to ask for a...
2nd Styling!

(New happy & dissapointed animations I added for customers!)
A 2nd styling takes no extra time after your 1st, allowing you to potentially double your profit in the same amount of time, making it super valuable‼️
Your chances of a 2nd styling improve with your presentation confidence & outfit quality. Each customer has a minimum # of stars (quality) required, and the higher you surpass that that the more likely they'll ask for more!
You can achieve this with a few high-quality pieces, or stacking accessorizes/lower-quality items! This should add depth for min-maxers without punishing any casual players!
Im rlly excited for this feature because fashion games are so often written off as shovelware slop when theres just as much room for fun, exciting gameplay here as there is in any genre, so hopefully this changes that‼️‼️
Roadmap!!
Ive gotten some emails asking abt when the betas coming out, but unfortunately I can't quite estimate the date (last time i did that I was very wrong...).
So I made this to hopefully clear things up until we get there!

I added some more stuff since the last update, but this is all I could really fit here...
Sorry for the delay with this one, adding that day/night cycle was the bane of my existence and delayed this by a week xd... and ty SO MUCH if you responded to my last help form, it means so much!!
See you next month for another update! :DD
