hey, its me again, Aaron !!

I'm the developer behind this Thrifting Fashion Game you prolly found on your feed awhile ago, and i wanted to share a development update with you! :D

But first, I thought I'd go over the game's main gameplay as a refresher! ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ

The core of the game consists of 3 major parts, each corresponding to a building above in the game's overworld! (still gotta finish the artwork...)

THRIFTING --> Sift through the racks looking for new clothes!

STYLING--> Run your very own boutique, styling yourself and customers with the clothes you've thrifted!

SHOPPING --> Buy stuff you cant thrift (face/hair options, accessories, furniture... upgrades?!)

There's definitely more planned outside this core gameplay loop (such as yapping to different unique characters), but I don't wanna talk too much about stuff I haven't implemented yet!

Gotta keep some things a surprise, y'know!

Now as for what im currently working on right now.....

Adding Customers!

Also known as the NPC's who come into your boutique to ask you for stuff‼️While I really want to add some hand-written customers with specific story lines eventually, im currently just focusing on creating randomly generated ones so that the game will be infinitely playable! :D

Each NPC will have their own personality type that influences their dialog, fashion sense and requests (what they want your help styling them with)!

I've already implemented the request system & personalities but now im working on the hardest part... randomly generating their appearances!

Generating random outfits that still look good is pretty hard... so pray for me :'D (I am currently procrastinating working on it by writing this email to you lmao...)

One part of this im super excited about is the 'friendship' system!

Customers will be able to revisit your boutique over time and remember you! Maybe if you max out your friendship level they'll give you a gift?? Who knows... 👀

Unfortunately the beta is still a ways away </3 Theres still alot I have planned to add to the beta...

The aforementioned customer generation, the non-thrift shop, an in-game calendar system, customizable charms, boutique decoration, lesbians... alot of stuff.....

So I'd like to thank you for your patience as I take the time to get it playable!! ^_^

But rest assured i'll keep you updated every step of the way! ( ˃ ᗜ ˂ )
